Sara's Skort is a pattern for a skirt with attached shorts. The skirt is lined and the shorts are unlined. Skort front is fitted, while the back waist has a casing with elastic. Front and back skirt sections are cut on the fold. Both the fabric requirement chart and the instructions refer to the outside as the skirt and the under part as the shorts. It is called a skort when these two sections are stitched together.

Skort is shown with the #245 Lettie blouse and a button-on-the-shoulder top from the #85 Libby jumper. To use the Libby yoke for a summer top, extend the yokes down to about a length even with a child's navel. The approximate length from the high point on shoulder to the bottom of the top is Size l: 9 1/2", Size 2: 10 1/2", Size 3: 11", Size 4:11 1/2", Size 5: 12", Size 6: 12 1/2", Size 7: 13 1/2", Size 8: 14 1/2", Size 10: 16", Size 12: 17".

Emma is a lined dress that buttons down the front and comes to just the bottom of the knees. Measure child for desired length. The slightly raised waistline is straight in the back and curves up at center front. View A is a jumper that can be worn with a blouse or turtleneck. View B features a pointed collar and armholes that cut in at the shoulder.

Lettie is a blouse and pants pattern. The blouse buttons in the front and has straight sleeves edged with ruffles that can be either short or 3/4 length. The one piece Peter Pan collar is finished with corded piping. The long, elastic-waist pants as well as the shorts are unlined. Both are finished with a ruffle at bottom of legs.

BABS is a sundress package with four variations. The yoke line comes almost to the waist. View A has a square neckline front and back with a rectangular keyhole cut out in back. View b is similar to View A but with ties in the back instead of buttons. View C has a V-neck front and back with a half collar on front sewn into the shoulder seams and a triangular keyhole in back. The back yoke fastens with buttons. The above views have elastic sewn into the back waistline for a better fit. View D ties on the shoulder with a contrasting sash sewn into a fabric box on front yoke. Sash ties in back. Contrasting covered buttons on box finish this sundress which can be worn as a jumper.

Mallory is a girl's jumper or sundress with a high front yoke and an A-line skirt featuring 3 inverted box pleats. The top of each pleat is embellished with a decorative button. The back is double breasted and has a double row of buttons. The finished length of Mallory is to the bottom of knee and the dress is fully lined.

Callie is an A-lined sundress or jumper that is unlined. Facings of a coordinating fabric turn to the right side of the dress at top of front and back yokes and skirt bottom. They are topstitched to garment and trimmed with rickrack or corded piping. The straps, also made of the coordinating fabric, turn under through buttonholes in front yoke and are fastened with two snaps on each side. Straps can be moved down a snap as the child needs extra dress length. Sundress may also be fastened with buttons.

Madison is an A-lined romper that is unlined. Facings of a coordinating fabric turn to the right side of the romper at top of front and back yokes and leg bottoms. They are topstitched to garment and trimmed with rickrack or corded piping. The straps, also made of the coordinating fabric, turn under through buttonholes in front yoke and are fastened with two snaps on each side. Straps can be moved down a snap as the child needs extra length. Romper may also be fastened with buttons.

Morgan has views for both girls and boys. It can be made or one fabric or with the yokes and straps from a companion fabric. The straps button onto front yoke. The garment has four inverted box pleats in the front and two sections of gathers in the back where pants or dress is stitched to yokes Pants have short, cropped and long lengths. Boy's shirt has c piped Peter Pan collar with piped straight sleeves. Girl's blouse has a piped scalloped collar and slightly gathered straight sleeves with a turned-up, scalloped cuff.

Katie's Skirt is a pattern for an A-lined skirt. It has a center front and center back panel stitched to side panels that have pockets that wrap around the sides. These side panels have a top casing with elastic for a great fit. The top edge of the pockets can be trimmed with rickrack or corded piping if desired. This easy-to-make skirt is lined.

Cece is a knit dress designed to be made of knit fabrics for babies and toddlers. The entire dress can be made of knit or the top made of knit and the slightly gathered skirt from a woven fabric. Pattern includes both a short and long sleeve. Bottom of sleeves can be turned up and hemmed by machine or finished by a rippled lettuce edge that can be stitched by machine or serger. The dress has overlapping front and back shoulders for ease in dressing.

Louise is a high-waisted jumper or sundress. It is buttoned in the back and tucked at the hemline. A blouse pattern with two collar and two sleeve patterns is included. The sundress has a small round collar. The length is to below the knee.

Elliott is a button-on-the-shoulder romper for girls and boys. View A is designed for a smocked inset. The longer yoke on View B is suitable for a monogram or machine embroidery. Pattern includes both short and long pants which have a turned up cuff for growth. Romper is completely lined. Instructions are included for grippers in the crotch. Pattern is included for blouse or shirt that buttons in the back and has a piped collar and piped sleeve.

Millie is a coat dress that comes to just the bottom of the knees for View A. View A's A-lined skirt is attached to a lined yoke with a wrap-around front facing. It is shown in a printed corduroy with velveteen collar and ruffles. View B flares out much more at the sides and is attached to a lined yoke with a wrap-around front facing. View A and B can be cut at dress length or at the top length and worn with the enclosed pants. View A has a round collar with a 1/2" ruffle and sleeves finished with 1/2" ruffle. View B's pointed collar, sleeve cuffs and pants cuffs are topstitched with 1/4" gingham ribbon. Millie buttons down the front and the pants have an elastic waist. View B is shown in a cotton challis with Swiss flannel collar and cuffs.

Lillian is a sleeveless, lined shift dress with buttons in the back. It has short slits at the bottom of side seams for easier movement. These slits are trimmed at the top with fabric or ribbon bows. Patch pockets can be trimmed with rickrack.
