Pleating Thread.
We recommend hand quilting dual duty plus thread
by Coats and Clark for all your pleating. This thread is
durable cotton covered polyester that will not pull apart
when working with your garment. Orange is our color of
choice since it is highly visible on both light and dark
fabric plus it doesn't leave "dye tracks" when removed
from your garment. Pleating/smocking will be more
pleasurable when you eliminate thread worries with this
quality product.

Pleater Needles.
Quality needles are available for both 16 and 24
row pleaters and will fit Amanda Jane, Sally Stanley,
Reed and Martha Pullen pleaters. Remember that needles
can dull, bend or get burrs so change then occasionally
to prevent problems.
