StretchRite Elastic Sewing Thread:

Common uses: Gathering and shirring, stretchable stitches, stringing beads
Create Gathers and Shirrs: Hand wind bobbin with elastic sewing thread. For lightweight fabrics, wind the elastic thread tightly. For other fabrics, wind loosely. Use regular thread on top of the machine. Set stitch length regulator for a long stitch - about 8 stitches per inch.
