Soft handed, semi-sheer 100% cotton pima batistes are available from Spechler-Vogel in seven colors. These whispy fabrics are the economical choice for the french hand sewer because they drap well and compliment laces like their more expensive Swiss "cousins." Washability is excellent, however, since they are all cotton the use of sizing or starch will aid in the reduction of wrinkles.
